There are several corridors and small rooms nearby. You won't need to explore them all, but you must prevent enemy units from launching surprise attacks. Ask for ammunition, as well as a new first aid kit. Get ready to defend against the attacks of the second group of enemy units. Most of them will be standing on the upper balcony, and you have to be ready to kill them when they try to jump over the railing. Keep moving forward and don't leave anyone behind.

Be attentive to the signs. They will help you get to your current destination, which will be the pumping station. Don't miss the upper balconies and eliminate additional enemy units when they arrive. A large group will also be waiting for you at the stairs. Kill them and take the time to find ammo and new armor. Head to the long balcony leading to the new sewer section.

Eventually you will have to get to a big hole in the ground. Use the ladder to go further into the sewer. You'll see Keegan soon, but you don't have to chase him. Beware of electrical discharges and go to the left. There will be a lever here, and you have to pull it to turn off the power supply to this section of the sewer.

Be ready to protect yourself from new ghosts. Don't forget to stay in one place for a longer period of time and shoot the ghosts in short but controlled bursts. Your first goal is to go down to the area where you saw the discharges. Go to the right and keep moving forward. Look for medicines, but unfortunately, there won't be many of them.

There is only one narrow passageway leading to your current destination, so you should not get lost. Keep shooting at the ghosts to scare them away, but you have to face the fact that you will probably lose a lot of health here. Eventually you will get into a new carriage. Explore the area and you will find a small hiding place. Take ammunition and much needed syringes.

You can go to the second carriage located in the distance. I strongly recommend that you take a look inside, because you will find a new document, the String Extension. You can finally head for the stairs. Collect ammo for your main weapon along the way. Go to the end of the balcony and you will find grenades and armor.
